    Ken Remmert, Director of Worship Arts

A native of St. Louis, he came to Kansas City to attend the Conservatory of Music at UMKC.  He earned his Bachelor of Music-Percussion Performance degree, which basically means he's a drummer.  While attending school in Kansas City he found his wife and work, so he never went back to St. Louis.  He does go home occasionally to hug his Mom and Dad.

Ken is active throughout the Kansas City Area as a professional actor and musician.  Ken also spends part of his time as Artistic Directory of Kool Kids Productions, a semi-professional children's theatre north of the River.

Ken has over 20 years of experience working with area churches, including Director of Music and Youth Director.  North Cross offered him a great opportunity to work with his wife, Lenora, the staff organist.

Ken and Lenora have lived North of the River since 1985.  They have one son, Nathan, who is working in the Chicago area and one old and smelly dog named Midnight.

Ken hopes to share his passion for music and drama as part of worship with everyone at North Cross.
